Okay so I am a few days early with this, but I will probably not have time to post it on the 4th of July. Anyways here is a fast digital Photoshop painting I did in the spirit of this time. I am also looking forward to the film coming up in a few weeks. Have a good weekend everyone!
I decided for the fun of it to create a retro WWII action scene starring one Captain America. He is a comic book hero partly created by one of my all time favorite artists Jack Kirby. The Captain America here started out as another character I created in Illustrator a few months back. I took it and adjusted it and boom one Captain America in the look from the upcoming film with some slight elements of my own added. The background was created in Photoshop with layers of actual war imagery I altered to give it a certain look. In addition I added a couple giant Nazi robots that was actually one character I also made in Illustrator. Enjoy...
