I notice I post less and less in my blog here over the past few years, but here I am at the end of the year creating a few posts! Here is some artwork that was commissioned by others. Two of these images were actually recreations of my sketch book pages as I do not tear out pages. Actually I feel the original recreations of the pages were probably better than the pages themselves. I still felt I keep them loose and drew them as fast as the original pages. The others were portraits of a couple that was traditionally painted and is a layer piece. The other image was created traditionally and digitally for a friend who is a new comedian in LA. The monster piece was created for a gentlemen who I have done other work with. He asked me to do my take on a monster design of his that was already 3D printed. Anyways besides these I did hundreds of sketchbook pages, drawings, sculpts, digital art, etc. Creating is my life! Cheers!

2020 Ends And Some Art Commissions
Over Five Years Of Monday Monsters
Back in August 18, 2014 I digitally drew a goofy monster in Photoshop and when I posted it called it the Monday Monster from that day I would do that every Monday although that same year for some reason the month of October 2014 I strangely did not do any Monday Monsters! That was my only gap and I have not missed a Monday since! Anyways almost the first few years I created the Monday Monsters digitally in Photoshop. I did have one traditional one the first year I did these. Anyways I hand draw them now and once and awhile sculpt some. I do sell them so contact me if interested as I still have many left. Anyways here are random Monday Monster images from back in 2014 along with some fun facts which are now a little bit out of date. I usually post these Monday Monster drawings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Chills!

October Digital Paintings 2020
ello all hard to believe November 2019 was the last time I posted here! The months go by fast and I am creating more than ever over this past year, that has been both interesting and more than challenging at times! Anyways this last October like every October I like to create much Halloween/Horror type art be it in my sketchbook or some digital paintings like the ones I am posting here. The digital painting of the creature coming out of the sea destroying the light house was the final form from one of my Rinktober sketches out of my sketchbook. Rinktober where everyday in October I did an quick Halloween/Horror ink drawing and posted it on social media. Anyways these digital paintings were created on my Wacom tablet in Photoshop and as always they were a blast to create! Chills!

Odds and Ends
The second image is a HEAVY METAL cover and no I did not do one for the magazine (although it would be a fun job to do.) it was for a Threadless/Heavy Metal contest. I did not win the contest, but I did had a blast creating it, which I did in Photoshop. There were many entries so coming up with a winner must of been quite a challenge in itself!
The third image here is just a recent sketchbook page of mine I cleaned up a bit and colored in Photoshop to make it a print. There are times I do create more finished images in my sketchbook.

Monster May
THE HORROR FROM THE SEA
My wife and I felt like we were the lucky ones to survive the sudden disaster of the ship we had been on. We appeared to be the only ones left from the 23 of us that had been on that vessel. Even though we had been in bed when this tragic event happened I had enough skills from my naval career to save my wife and myself. Along with a bit of survival gear we found a bit of the vessel to float on. It was a somewhat calm moonlit night and we huddled close to keep warm. Then out of nowhere there was this disturbance in front of us! Like a nightmare breaking into reality this slick object slowly rose out of the sea. The smell like the smell of every fear one could experience if that made sense filled the air around us! My wife and I could not say a word at this moment it was like our vocal cords had been ripped out!The most unnerving thing was that it made no sound; the only noise was coming from the water surrounding it. My wife and I clutched each other tighter feeling each other's fear and our hearts beating to whatever horror was coming towards us. We saw it slowly and deliberately turn its head towards us with the eyes...they glowed! The glow of horror, terror and of a predator that had such easy prey! My mind raced this must be a nightmare, no some effect of too much drinking and heavy food late at night, I could not think straight! For a few unselfish brave seconds I though what was in my wife's mind? I could barely say I love you so much to her as this creature from some hellish place moved towards us...The eyes seemed to glow even stronger and I felt like they could cut us down from their glare! We grabbed each other so tight as the moon was blocked from this nightmarish mass! The last almost one would think crazy thought I had was how damn lucky the other ones were, how lucky they were gone and did not have to face this...horror from the sea...
