The storyboards for Bar's Leak I am presenting here were for three thirty second live action spots that were shown on TV. I created these storyboards using Photoshop back in June of 2014. After each storyboard set I will have a link to see the actual filmed commercial.

Joker At 75

The Clown Prince of Crime or The Joker if you will has been messing around in the Batman universe 75 years now and he shows no signs of slowing down! Anyways I tend to like to create my takes on the Joker once and awhile so here are a few posted below. They were created in traditional and digital media. So keep the funny times coming Joker!

More Friday The 13th Madness

If you look through this blog of mine you will see a few other Jason Friday the 13th type illustrations. Anyways this one was posted on Facebook earlier today and was influenced by Frankenstein Friday and Valentines Day which is tomorrow. Anyways it was a fun mash up I quickly created in Photoshop today.

First Official Post of 2015

Okay now here is my first official posting of 2015 actually posted on the first day of 2015 which will be ending in a matter of minutes. I do like to do things at the last minute. Anyways I have started a new sketchbook number 53 I believe and I did a digital drawing earlier. Here is the first page from the sketchbook and a digital drawing created in Photoshop with similar theme.Anyways everyone have a great 2015!

Last Post of 2014

Well 2014 is heading into the past so I thought I would do a last posting of some images I never got around to. These are more of the 3D cardboard illustrations that I presented in an earlier post and more digital illustration created in Photoshop. 2014 was a busy year for me I did some more app art and created many more digital paintings/drawings, created more storyboards and was in a few shows. All and all I few like I have created more in this year than previous years. The funny thing is I got behind in my postings much of the time. Anyways everyone have a great 2015. Cheers. Tribute Images Of Batman And Hellboy

Batman and Hellboy are two favorite fictional comic book characters of mine. I grew up with Batman comics and the TV shows and started reading Hellboy when it started coming out in the early 90s. Batman celebrated 75 years this year and Hellboy celebrated 20 years and both are in many types of media from comics to films. I created my slightly 3D cardboard style imagery of both characters and created a digital illustration of both as well and all four images are below. So here is to Bob Kane/Bill Finger (Batman) and Mike Mignola (Hellboy) for their fun creations!

Jack Kirby Day!!!

It would of been Jack Kirby's 97 birthday today and in honor of that this week I created some Jack Kirby created characters in Photoshop. I really have fun drawing his characters and it is fun to bring in some of his style.

Batman Time!

Ever since I was little kid seeing the live action BATMAN and animated shows on TV, along with getting the comics I really got into the character of Batman. Heck it seems like at least once or twice a week I draw him or characters from his universe in my sketchbooks. The Batman character now has been around 75 years and is still going strong! So in tribute to that and in part I am going to be in major pop culture mode being at the San Diego Comic Convention in a day or so here are some more finished Batman images I have created over the last few years. Some even are in tribute to other artists takes on Batman. A couple of the images are even my take on a possible future Batman. The images below were created in Illustrator, Photoshop, ink pen and acrylic paint.

Halloween Inspired Digital Images

Here are some Photoshop created digital drawings I created inspired by the various horror films I have seen lately and the October/Halloween season. Most of these I created pretty rapidly as I have not had much time at home with my gear of late. Anyways I may post another group of these next week. Chills and scary dreams!
